The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kalmar this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Étoile De Mer.
Sister Moon ended up behind the leader.
Corbona got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Happy
Moment started to galop and lost 20 m.
Sister Moon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of
Light
Sunflower who started to galop and lost 50 m. A bird flew just in front of
Tricky
Jewel who started to galop and lost 20 m.
Corbona looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Étoile De Mer couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Sister Moon.
Tricky
Jewel was disturbed and galoped 10 m.
Corbona looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.
With only a little left of the race
Miss Pretty Face galoped for 20 m.
Corbona kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Sister Moon won the race after a spectacular finish.
