The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Just Wave found a gap and took the lead. Godspell followed before Old Moon.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Old Moon looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Nachsehen Mich couldn't come out from behind the leader, Just Wave. One And Only suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.



Nachsehen Mich was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Old Moon looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dr Pepper Pride couldn't come out from behind the leader, Just Wave.






Winner of todays race was Just Wave. Old Moon came in second. Dr Pepper Pride became third.
