The weather had been good all week and Oulu was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lieutenant Folder took the lead after a very quick start. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




Saint-Étienne saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Saint-Étienne was still in the lead after 1500m.



Saint-Étienne sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Star In Heaven galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Star In Heaven started to galopp and lost 0 m.




Douze sprinted over the finishline before Lieutenant Folder and Saint-Étienne.
