The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Halmstad this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Apprécient Le Tour found a gap and took the lead. Diamond Lightning followed before Betsy Boy. When the startcar left the field Dawn Blind Snake started to galop and lost 20 m. Depués De Me suddenly started to galop. Anders Christiansson had to struggle to get Depués De Me to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Diamond Lightning, Peanut Jam, Good Looking Scout, Betsy Boy, Apprécient Le Tour, Sally Maclennane, Lungo Tempo, Rainbow.




Diamond Lightning clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Diamond Lightning followed by Rainbow and Apprécient Le Tour. Lane two Lungo Tempo followed by Glorious Daffodil and Peanut Jam.




Diamond Lightning didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Sally Maclennane galoped for 30 m. Apprécient Le Tour were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Rainbow sprinted over the finishline before Apprécient Le Tour and Diamond Lightning.
