Only a humble breeze blew over Bergen this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sapphire Birch could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Jumping Thinker sprinted to the front.




Mustang Beach sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Mustang Beach today. It continued in the lead.




Mustang Beach didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Count My Cash showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Mustang Beach kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sapphire Birch never caught up with Mustang Beach who won. Spin Out came third.
