One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Crossing Amazon found a gap and took the lead. Fun Flight followed before Safonovo. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m. Fun Flight suddenly started to galop. Carl-Erik Lindblom had to struggle to get Fun Flight to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Fun Flight sprinted to the front. Fun Flight started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Awesome who started to galop and lost 40 m. A bird flew just in front of Witchcraft Scream who started to galop and lost 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Breaking Sun accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Unknown galloped for 10 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Safonovo gallopped for 40 m.

Witchcraft Scream speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Witchcraft Scream kept the speed the whole finish and won before Crossing Amazon and Index.
