Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Årjäng track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Value Increase could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Påarps Älva quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Intelligent Mind took the lead rather easily.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Intelligent Mind today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Påarps Älva gallopped for 40 m.

Intelligent Mind was still in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Giant Sacrifice galoped for 50 m. Value Increase was first on the homestretch followed by Intelligent Mind and Champion Leader.

Value Increase didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
