Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solvalla track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mon Coeur sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Brave Pearl was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Volatility suddenly started to galop. Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get Volatility to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




Widowmaker quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Volatility who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Windy Sunray sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Windy Sunray was still in the lead after 1500m. Happy Sunflower started to gallop after 1500m and Erik Adielsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Mon Coeur suddenly took over the lead.



Mon Coeur was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Volatility was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Candy Shop suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Jumping Gold showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Jumping Gold galop. Jumping Gold lost 20 m.




Candy Shop kept the speed the whole finish and won before Windy Sunray and Mon Coeur.
