The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Solvalla today.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Three Of Spades.
Polished
Folder ended up behind the leader.
Honourable
Night got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Polished
Folder was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.
Old
Comet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Stopping
Wardrobe showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Universe King started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of
Radiating
Giggle who started to galop and lost 30 m.
Asphalt looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Three Of Spades couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Old
Comet.
Three Of Spades suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.
Universe King was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. With only a little left of the race
Radiating
Giggle galoped for 20 m.
Asphalt looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Three Of Spades couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Old
Comet.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused
Rolling
Tropic galop.
Rolling
Tropic lost 20 m.
Asphalt won the race after a spectacular finish.
