The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Arvika this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Great Horsetail took the lead after a very quick start.

The Champion quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Going Crown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Didier Kronos looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Didier Kronos didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Didier Kronos were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Don´t Worry Butch won. Madhava came in second. Going Crown caught third place.
