One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Goofy Whirlwind took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field No Fear started to galop and lost 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Hillary, Fawltys Ticking Grove, Growing Bigger, Goofy Whirlwind, Alpine, Shinobi, Twinkletoe, Hekate.

Alpine took the lead after 1000m. Shinobi didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Shinobi was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Alpine followed by Shinobi and Wind Of Roses. Lane two Twinkletoe followed by Hekate and Growing Bigger.

Alpine sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Growing Bigger galloped way to long and was disqualified. Alpine were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Twinkletoe won. Hekate came in second. Shinobi caught third place.
