It had been raining for several days at Jägersro but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sherry Mi-saï found a gap and took the lead. Sybil Fawlty followed before Marder Larockma. Johnny Takter wanted a little to much in the start and Eagle Sun galoped for 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Special Gina sprinted to the front. Heartbreaker was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Marder Larockma looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sherry Mi-saï couldn't come out from behind the leader, Special Gina.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Special Gina followed by Sherry Mi-saï and Stepping Box. Lane two Marder Larockma followed by Sgt Pepper and Sybil Fawlty.




Special Gina was still in the lead after 2000m. Eagle Sun was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



driver couldn't keep Sybil Fawlty to trotting so they were disqualified. driver couldn't keep Cariac to trotting so they were disqualified. Special Gina looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Stepping Box galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Sgt Pepper won the race after a spectacular finish.
