One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dreaming Star could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Clever Devil sprinted to the front.




Rainmaker sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rainmaker followed by Mac Cheek and Vintage Code. Lane two Dreaming Star followed by Volontier and Clever Devil.




Rainmaker didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Rainmaker kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Mac Cheek sprinted over the finishline before Dreaming Star and Vintage Code.
