One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Queenie could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Elegance Beauty saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Best Served Cold who started to galop and lost 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Royal Empire who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Queenie sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Rotture Di Angelo accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Summer Memory put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Summer Memory sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Giant Empire galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Rotture Di Angelo sprinted over the finishline before Summer Memory and Gingerbreadman.
