One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pointing Jewel sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Cyprienne was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pointing Jewel followed by Cyprienne and Good Looking Angel. Lane two Lonely Sunset followed by Beyond This Earth and Ristimänimen Edessä.



Pointing Jewel looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
