Only a humble breeze blew over Kaustinen this day. The track where in perfect shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Legionnaire found a gap and took the lead. Tihany Moot followed before K.f. Palema. When the startcar left the field Flakvierling Larockma started to galop and lost 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Cosmic Fall, Gerlinde Larockma, Flakvierling Larockma, Tihany Moot, Dominant Power, Legionnaire, K.f. Palema, Mazura.

Cosmic Fall was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Tihany Moot galloped way to long and was disqualified. Flakvierling Larockma suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Legionnaire looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Gerlinde Larockma galoped for 10 m. K.f. Palema was first on the homestretch followed by Cosmic Fall and Legionnaire.

Cosmic Fall galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Legionnaire made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before K.f. Palema.
