Only a humble breeze blew over Vaasa this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tranquil Temptress could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Funky Gal looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jaako couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tranquil Temptress.




Tranquil Temptress was still in the lead after 1500m.



Tranquil Temptress looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Funky Gal sprinted over the finishline before Tranquil Temptress and Jaako.
