The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åmål today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Billy Boy took the lead after a very quick start.




Gunvald Zed was in fine shape and held the lead. Dansbandsdrottningen C.C. was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Fliegend Umsonst looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Billy Boy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gunvald Zed.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Billy Boy followed by Malmagro and Fliegend Umsonst. Lane two Gunvald Zed followed by Nevada Torpedo and De Combe.




Billy Boy sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Niclas Benzon tried a little too much on the homestretch and Dansbandsdrottningen C.C. started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Gunvald Zed kept the speed the whole finish and won before Malmagro and Nevada Torpedo.
