One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fair Temptress was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Irma Larockma sprinted to the front.




Irma Larockma clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Irma Larockma followed by Vampire and Front Stone. Lane two Fair Temptress followed by Speedbullet and Tricky Meadow. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Tricky Meadow gallopped for 40 m.



Tricky Meadow galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Irma Larockma sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Fair Temptress won the race after a spectacular finish.
