One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Arwen could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Arwen was still in the lead after 1500m.




Arwen sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Arwen galoped for 10 m. Arwen looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Rumbling Valley made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Arwen.
