The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Boden this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hannah Larockma was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Front Valley sprinted to the front.




Hannah Larockma took the lead after 1000m. Bjarni didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Front Valley accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Front Valley kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Front Valley were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Hannah Larockma won the race after a spectacular finish.
