The sun was shining on Åmål and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Blanca could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Blanca suddenly started to galop. Tony Magnusson had to struggle to get Blanca to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

Gemma Belori was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

Inkas Panic looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Wandering Dreamcatcher couldn't come out from behind the leader, Mirja.

Inkas Panic was still in the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Gemma Belori galoped for 10 m. Blanca sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Muscular Devil kept the speed the whole finish and won before Wandering Dreamcatcher and Mirja.
