One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Herrhagens Cajuste. The Connection ended up behind the leader. Nejdøíve got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Herrhagens Cajuste started to galop and lost 30 m.

Screaming Star saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Priske The Man showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Dat Caat started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Dotted Shirt looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Dotted Shirt sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Fierceful Lizard was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.

There was a new leader after 2500m, Herrhagens Cajuste. The Connection galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Herrhagens Cajuste sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Fierceful Lizard made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Nejdøíve.
