The sun was shining on Lahti today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Pointe Du Croisic. Rilassamento ended up behind the leader. Gynge Den Bane got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Pointe Du Croisic was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Pointe Du Croisic started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Rilassamento looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Gynge Den Bane couldn't come out from behind the leader, Pointe Du Croisic.

Pointe Du Croisic was still in the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Gynge Den Bane galoped for 40 m. Pointe Du Croisic looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Rilassamento made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Pointe Du Croisic.
