It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Confident Space could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Örjan Kihlström wanted a little to much in the start and Loup galoped for 40 m.




Eikelboom quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Silver Baby looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Loup couldn't come out from behind the leader, Eikelboom.



Falling Scope looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Stretching Addiction couldn't come out from behind the leader, Loup.






Stretching Addiction sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
