One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

River Raid tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Silver Stone that came steaming ahead. Carl Johan Jepson wanted a little to much in the start and L'oreille Cassée galoped for 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and River Raid sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Lucky Raspberry who started to galop and lost 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Herrhagens Leif galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one River Raid followed by Giusto Qui and U R Falling Short. Lane two In Shock followed by Singing Ballerina and Silver Stone.

Wild Vixen was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. River Raid kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Silver Stone, 2 River Raid, 3 U R Falling Short.
