Wenig quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Close Rocket who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Wenig clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Wenig didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Wenig looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
