It had been raining for several days at Romme but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Tyce tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Bienvenue that came steaming ahead. Eikelboom saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Eikelboom followed by Tyce and . Lane two Bienvenue followed by and . Eikelboom didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Eikelboom sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Troels Andersen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Bienvenue started to galopp and lost 50 m. Winner of todays race was Eikelboom. Tyce came in second. Bienvenue became third. Results
