The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sly Runner found a gap and took the lead. Gioiello Signora followed before Silverplate.




Sly Runner was in fine shape and held the lead.




Silverplate sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Silverplate today. It continued in the lead.




Silverplate was still in the lead after 2000m.



Silverplate sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Sly Runner, 2 Silverplate, 3 Gioiello Signora.
