The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slippery Dragon tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Best Favorite that came steaming ahead. Stefan Persson wanted a little to much in the start and Slippery Dragon galoped for 30 m. Comfortable Ship was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Slippery Dragon sprinted to the front. Slippery Dragon was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Jj started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Lieutenant Map sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Jj galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Slippery Dragon won the race after a spectacular finish.
