One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Royal Baptist could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Turning Feeling was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Moving Play suddenly started to galop. Björn Goop had to struggle to get Moving Play to tror again and succeded after 40 m. When the startcar left the field Black Agent started to galop and lost 40 m.

Moving Play saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Wandering Thinker sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Moving Play suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m. driver couldn't keep Guarto De Seme to trotting so they were disqualified.

Wandering Thinker was still in the lead after 1500m.

Wandering Thinker sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Guarto De Seme was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.

Meet Me In Montauk won the race after a spectacular finish.
