One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Panzanella could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Panzanella was in fine shape and held the lead. Brave Nutcracker started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Coughing Orchid took the lead after 1000m. Panzanella didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Coughing Orchid today. It continued in the lead.




Brave Nutcracker put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Brave Nutcracker kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Panzanella won. Brave Nutcracker came in second. Coughing Orchid caught third place.
