The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Lycksele today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jago was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Heidi Hiltunen wanted a little to much in the start and Jago galoped for 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Adorable Moon, Louis Le Fainéant, Jago, Occams Razor Moot, Merel De Blaeij, Lying Whirlwind, Sunday Fox, . A bird flew just in front of Sunday Fox who started to galop and lost 40 m. A bird flew just in front of Lying Whirlwind who started to galop and lost 40 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Louis Le Fainéant took the lead rather easily.




Jago looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Louis Le Fainéant galloped for 50 m.




Jago kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Adorable Moon litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Lying Whirlwind showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Winner of todays race was Adorable Moon. Jago came in second. Sunday Fox became third.
