The sun was shining on Solvalla and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Portadown Line. Murhprys Law ended up behind the leader. Slight Twist got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Helpful Blast quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Helpful Blast clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Guderian Larockma suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Helpful Blast was still in the lead after 1500m. Guderian Larockma started to gallop after 1500m and Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Moving Frenzy seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.

Moving Frenzy were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Moving Frenzy galop. Moving Frenzy lost 40 m. Guderian Larockma galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Slight Twist won the race after a spectacular finish.
