One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Purple Giggle could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Saaristo quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Saaristo clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Herrhagens Woolfenden looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Brorsan Zed was first on the homestretch followed by Herrhagens Woolfenden and Greystoke.






Greystoke won the race after a spectacular finish.
