One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pommard took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Lock On Moussolou, Calzado, Big Valbuena, María Isabel, Pomeroy, Pommard, Victory Trot, Pipe Guy. Pipe Guy started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and María Isabel took the lead rather easily.

Pomeroy won the race after a spectacular finish.
