One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mitezoya found a gap and took the lead. Hector followed before Singing Stardust.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mitezoya followed by Hector and Styxon Ciniferalis. Lane two Singing Stardust followed by Volop Van Reden and .

Mitezoya kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Hector made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Mitezoya.
