The sun was shining on Sørlandet and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nessla Vanessa tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Cape Clear that came steaming ahead.




Chantal quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Nessla Vanessa took the lead after 1000m. Cape Clear didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Chantal was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Nessla Vanessa today. It continued in the lead.



Nessla Vanessa sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Chantal made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Cape Clear.
