One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Le Pennec took the lead after a very quick start. Legionnaire was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Herrhagens Mariner, Legionnaire, Falling Crusher, Sunbeam Clover, Ü, Cherchez La Femme, Kanu Moussolou, Le Pennec.




Cherchez La Femme looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sunbeam Clover couldn't come out from behind the leader, Herrhagens Mariner.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Herrhagens Mariner today. It continued in the lead.




Electric Cookie put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Electric Cookie sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Sunbeam Clover won the race after a spectacular finish.
