The weather had been good all week and Arvika was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Goldap Larockma tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Climbing Bear that came steaming ahead. Goldap Larockma was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Punching Judge suddenly started to galop. Per Oleg Midtfjeld had to struggle to get Punching Judge to tror again and succeded after 40 m. When the startcar left the field Flickering Venus started to galop and lost 50 m.

Cunieo quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Punching Judge sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Flickering Venus suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Fast Valley was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Punching Judge followed by Speedy Pressure and Desiderare Ballerino. Lane two Cunieo followed by Climbing Bear and Fishermeade. Flickering Venus galloped for 50 m.

Punching Judge sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Punching Judge galoped for 30 m. Cunieo litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Julia Nilsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Flickering Venus started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Climbing Bear sprinted over the finishline before Desiderare Ballerino and Speedy Pressure.
