Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Eskilstuna track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gauthier sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Counterfeit Hollywood to trotting so they were disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Coughing Starshine who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Kajsa Kemp looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Coughing Starshine couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gauthier. driver couldn't keep Coughing Starshine to trotting so they were disqualified.




Kajsa Kemp accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Gauthier galloped for 10 m.




Gauthier suddenly took over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Gauthier galoped for 30 m. Gauthier sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Gauthier didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
