The weather had been good all week and Visby was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Third Nipple was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. driver couldn't keep Light Technology to trotting so they were disqualified. Dyanna galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Champange On Fire sprinted to the front. Flying Squirrel started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Light Technology who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Champange On Fire was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Acapulco showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Über Eis won the race after a spectacular finish.
