One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mevrouw was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Per Gustafsson wanted a little to much in the start and Dancing Glitter galoped for 50 m.

Bourquin quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Roar sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Roar followed by Strong Ship and Mevrouw. Lane two Anna Mix Thornix followed by Grey Collar American and Bourquin. Shining Fabric galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Strong Ship suddenly took over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Strong Ship galoped for 30 m. Mevrouw showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Roar speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Strong Ship sprinted over the finishline before Roar and Anna Mix Thornix.
