Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kouvola track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slippery Pressure tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Malkin Kapad that came steaming ahead.




Scarlet Sky quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Bourgogne sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Experienced Night galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Bourgogne was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Kvarngärdets Tangled Marigold galoped for 20 m. Stråleglans Dame was first on the homestretch followed by Bourgogne and Scarlet Sky.






Malkin Kapad won. Bourgogne came in second. Scarlet Sky caught third place.
