One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fiamingo tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Pointe Du Croisic that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Swinging Madame looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Fiamingo couldn't come out from behind the leader, Pointe Du Croisic.




Pointe Du Croisic was still in the lead after 1500m.



Fiamingo was first on the homestretch followed by Swinging Madame and Pointe Du Croisic.






Swinging Madame made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Fiamingo.
