The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Purple Heart sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Purple Heart started to galop and lost 20 m.




Stretching Hollywood quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Trigger Happy Moussolou took the lead rather easily.




Trigger Happy Moussolou was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Purple Heart gallopped for 40 m.



Purple Heart was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Stunning Rocket was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Purple Heart litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Trigger Happy Moussolou sprinted over the finishline before Sneaking Pearl and Purple Heart.
