The weather had been good all week and Romme was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Peel The Onion could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Turning Dream sprinted to the front. Buvetier D'aunou showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Kvarngärdets Satsuma sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Kvarngärdets Satsuma followed by Niet Langer Vervaard and Peel The Onion. Lane two Pie In The Sky Cherry followed by Backstabbing Wind and Nessla Youlooseagain.

Kvarngärdets Satsuma didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Pie In The Sky Cherry litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Peel The Onion sprinted over the finishline before Kvarngärdets Satsuma and Backstabbing Wind.
