One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





La Vie Noire was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Doorbell was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Dupire galop. Dupire lost 40 m.




La Vie Noire won the race after a spectacular finish.
