One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tropical Duchess could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Constancia sprinted to the front.




Constancia was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Sleepy Giggle looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Sleepy Giggle sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sleepy Giggle galop. Sleepy Giggle lost 20 m. Dion Tesselaar tried a little too much on the homestretch and Breaking Sunshine started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Final standings. 1 Tropical Duchess, 2 Constancia, 3 Anbetungswürdig Sieg.
