One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Carlos Kramer tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Cecina that came steaming ahead. Open Heart was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




Cecina was in fine shape and held the lead.




Killers First Law sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Open Heart was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Killers First Law was still in the lead after 1500m.



Killers First Law sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Precious Peach to trotting so they were disqualified.




Cecina made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Carlos Kramer.
